COLLAGE The Shop is my new high-end destination – My top 3 picks from the store
Copenhagen is truly becoming a fashion capital. While the city houses luxury fashion brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, the selection has always been somewhat limited. However, the historic department store Illum has recently been on a path to bring more contemporary luxury fashion to the Copenhagen residents and tourists. And as a part of this fashionable revamp is the menswear store of your dreams – COLLAGE The Shop. A store that houses some of the most iconic high-end maisons. For example will you find Gucci, Loewe and Balenciaga. I can say without a doubt that this is already becoming one of my favourite go-to high-end destinations in Copenhagen! I’ve even heard a little birdie sing that a certain Balenciaga Track sneaker might drop here!
The full list of brands you will find at Collage The Shop:
- Alexander McQueen
- Yves Saint Laurent
Perfectly Balanced Interiors
The interior of COLLAGE The Shop channels a high-end luxury fashion vibe while being all down to earth. Entering the store you immediately notice the walls which are covered by pebbled concrete – a move that sits very well with the current aesthetic of for example Balenciaga. At the same time are the majority of the interior constructed in white high gloss and brushed metal – a very fitting balance between luxury and industrial vibes. The majority of the store contains dark hardwood floor that perfectly contrasts the brighter interiors. Last but not least are the characteristic dressing room area, which is all purple and covered in carpet. Yes, purple carpet. I could get used to shopping here!
