The pyjamas look is unavoidable no matter whether you are looking towards men’s or women’s fashion. Of course it was first introduced for the ladies, but is being adapted more and more in the realm of men’s fashion. What does that mean? Well that means that you can use your pyjamas on the streets; joint or split – you decide. The shirt in it’s self is by far the easiest one to style, but if you really want a chic and fashion forward look then, I recommend wearing it together. Most often you’ll be able to shop the Pyjamas as a two piece, and I recommend that you do so; like this one from Ambassador 1867* that is only sold as a two piece. This way you have multiple ways of styling it, and no matter what, then you’ll have a pair of super comfy home wear trousers.
In this editorial you’ll find 3 different stylings of the Pyjamas. First, a full Pyjamas look worn with a pair of trendy sneakers. Second, a totally comfy look where the bottoms are worn with a sweatshirt and loafers. Third, a more rock chic look where the shirt are worn with jeans and boots.
To provide the Pyjamas look with a context I wore it around town. I visited some of the central Copenhagen highlights trying to create a somewhat dreamy atmosphere. I really love the heritage that you find in Copenhagen, and thought that it would be a perfect fit.
