CPHFW Day 1
Okay, so the first day of the much anticipated Copenhagen Fashion Week is over. Even though it hasn’t been the busiest of days (for me), then I feel like I’ve been taking quite a pounding.
The only show that I visited was the Jean Phillip AW17 show. The collection proved that slightly oversized yet clean cuts easily unify with a nihilistic youth punk cast. Punk rock connotations where visible, but didn’t create any sense of anarchy. And even though many of the pieces came with excessively long sleeves, then it all came across as very wearable! Especially the many references to classic menswear items allowed the collection to become tied very well together and pleasantly digestive. The collection was very subtle when it came to colors, the most remarkable was a delicate pink the spread across a few pieces. A bold color in sense of menswear.
I’ve picked out 6 styles that I would definitely wear myself if given the chance! 😉
I went to the show with my friend Jonas from Lædersmeden. Lædersmeden who was the provider of boots for the entire show. Further, check out these boots on his feet (can be found at lædersmeden)!
Maria Black x Disruption
Afterwards I went to meet with a few friends for the Maria Black x Disruption press vernissage. As always does Maria Black provide overly simplistic jewellery that strips away all that is excessive. This was very well illustrated by the decorations, and how the food and drinks was served.
My CPHFW Day 1 Outfit
As for my outfit, I went with a rather gucci-chic look. Camel and brown combination, black horsebit loafers and tied together with a red/green gucci snake tie and a black studded pouch.
