OOTD – A 70s Vibe
OOTD – A 70s Vibe
There are tons of ways that you can wear your suit or blazer nowadays! You may pop it with a dress shirt, a tee, a pull, and – what I’ve come to enjoy lately – a roll neck. I’ve got a rather broad neck, so I’ve often discarded the option of wearing a roll neck, but I’ve finally become accustomed to this kind of jumper. What is even cooler is that it provides a super chic 70s vibe. And if you do enjoy a 70s vibe, make sure to check out Gucci’s FW15 and cruise collection. The new appointed creative director Alessandro Michele has done a great job in re-inventing the brand.
For this look I’ve tried to keep the colors rather subtle, to make the beige and brown shades stand out. Browns and blues generally works super neat together, and items in these colors are must haves in any man’s wardrobe.
About The 70s Vibe Outfit
Yeah, roll necks are a little tight around the neck, but you’ll get accustomed to it, and probably end up actually enjoying it. A definite advantage is that this jumper will keep your neck warm during the winter season. A chilly breeze may catch you and make your throat a little sore – even though you’re sitting inside. Guess what? With a roll neck that wont happen. Aaaand it provides the neat 70s vibe.

Small details may be game changers. A pocket square may make an actually rather boring jacket stand out. This little piece of cloth may break some lines of the blazer’s design but makes the blazer (and the overall outfit) look way more dynamic.

I love brogues. They dress up a casual outfit and dress down a formal look. Brogues are DEFINITELY menswear essentials! What is great about this exact pair is the color and sublime craftsmanship. It is a neat tobacco brown brogue in sturdy quality leather – a truly wonderful shoe.
