Paris – the city of love, the city of lights. A truly wonderful place with wonderful sights all over town. A place where you most definitely rather want to walk between destinations than take the subway. I can only recommend if you haven’t already been there, you should definitely take the time to do so.
I just spend 6 days in this wonderful paradise with my girlfriend. 6 days that I’m gonna share with you in 6 forthcoming posts (this being the 1st). This trip has been all about taking the time to relax and enjoy our selves. This means strolling around the city between beautiful sights, going out to dine at great restaurants and of course enjoy some occasional shopping in the fashion capital of the world. Finding great restaurants is not as easy as it seems though.. But i guess that counts for every city in the world.
Day one was basically about getting some of the obvious things done. You know like a picture in front of the Eiffel tower, going up to the top of the Eiffel tower, a great lunch at a wonderful bistro and then a walk down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Of course Champs-Élysées means a little shopping. And who can simply resist the Champs-Élysées Hugo Boss flagship store?!
The outfit that I had picked out for day one was somehow an imitation of a Parisian man. This means that the shirt should not be straight from the ironing, wearing leather shoes, a jacket and of course – probably the most important – remember the scarf!
The jacket is a Carnet De Vol military jacket, with neat decorations on the buttons. The skinny black jeans is Tiger Jeans by Tiger of Sweden. What’s perfect about these jeans is that they are not pitch black. This means that they are great for at casual wear! The shirt is a grey casual Boss Orange shirt. The shoes is a pair of decorated black derbys by Lloyd Shoes and of course the most important part, the Scarf is from the French label Létol. They specialize in organic cotton scarfs that are truly beautiful. Adding a colourful scarf brings a wonderful artistic vibe to the look.
By the way, be careful when walking around areas near fountains and such. I almost stepped on a dead rat when getting down from this one!
Of course the devil is in the details. That’s why I’ve brought my Brand Paris bracelets and Armani shades. These accesories are some of the things that really make my everyday better. Great details really make a difference.
I love this outfit as it is trendy and chic, while still being casual. I’m a fan of being really neat dressed, and this Parisian way of being dressed allows one to really stand out while somehow blending in. I’m a definitely a fan.
