Perfect Shoes For Autumn

Perfect Shoes For Autumn

I’ve always worn black shoes, because black is just so damn comfortable… But you gotta shake things up once in a while. This time in shape of some brown brogues! What I’ve come to love about the brown shoes, is that they may be dressy, but still very casual. You’re able to dress a suit down, business casual – which we all love, or dress up a pair of blue jeans. Really, a pair of light blue jeans and brown boots (or shoes) will lighten up the outfit. Not creating the same tense contrast as it would with black boots.

So, autumn is here and what a good reason to match the brown leafs on the trees with your footwear. So I decided shed some light on what may be the perfect shoes for autumn. In this case I’ve got my hands on 3 pair of clarks shoes. Clarks is great quality shoes in reasonable prices and I have nothing but praise for this brand.

Penton Limit.

This chestnut oxford wingtip is a great all around everyday shoe. Soft leather and not to heavy and tons of brogueing. Further it has a rubber grip instead of a pure leather sole, which makes it great for rainy days as well. As mentioned it goes great with jeans, chinos and may even be used with a navy or grey suit.

This shoe comes both in a regular shoe and as a boot – both done with high quality craftsmanship. The color is called ‘Tan interest’, where the interest refers to the ‘uneven’ surface of the sturdy leather. This is, in my opinion, the reason that these shoes stand out. The color is rather light making it stick very well with very light blue jeans. I would recommend for such a light shoe, that you would not wear too dark pants. Unless the purpose is to make that cutting contrast, in which case i would recommend an all black outfit. Just to make the shoes pop even more.

Edward Lord

Well… Sometimes it is just to hard to just chose one of two options. And so it was in this case. Edward Lord is just like the Edward Limit, just as a boot. Though they are pretty much the same, they add a very different element to the outfit. Where as the Edward limit may add a very formal edge to the outfit, the Edward Lord may provide a rather raunchy element. Personally I love to wear these with light blue ripped jeans. However they work great with wooden trousers as well.

I guess there is no need to mention that these shoes are already rocking my routine. To me, these are the Perfect Shoes for autumn.

XOXO
