Shopping In Milan?
Milan is a tremendous place – especially if you enjoy emptying your wallet..
A trip to Milan should of course have to involve stopping by the Duomo and the grandiose Galleria Vittori Emanuelle II. The Galleria Vittori Emanuelle II contains a selection of high-end flagships stores like Prada, Versace and Louis Vuitton. It’s a glorious atmosphere, and I’d urge you to sit at the Gucci Café take a sip from your cappuccino and just enjoy it. However, there are tons of tourists like your self! One store worth visitting is the Prada store. The ground floor isn’t huge, but the basement is a Prada paradise. It’s only for women though – so it’s the place that you bring your girlfriend.
However, if you are in Milan for the shopping, the Galleria isn’t the place. You’d much rather go to Via Monte Napoleone. It’s a little north east of the Galleria, but it only takes a few minutes to walk. This is the place where most of the high-end fashion flagship stores are located side by side. A place where you can go and feel inspired by the very core universes of the the brands. Me, I spend quite some time at Gucci. The newly revitalised brand has a lot to offer, and I can’t wait to share it.
Staying a little longer? Well there is quite a few interesting stores in the Navigli district. Everything from classic italian menswear to upcoming skate brands. a quite interesting neighbourhood.
Have you got any other favourite shopping areas in Milan? Let me know. 🙂
