Well, much have happened since the early 20th century sunday attire. It’s sort of like it has been totally polarised. We rarely dress up on Sundays any more, unless we’re attending some sort of formal party where it is of course required. It’s not that weekly service, where some old guy babbles on for hours, that motivates us to iron the shirt and dust off the blazer. A Sunday in the 21st century is much more likely to be spend chilling’ in front of the ‘flix. And we all do it.. 😉
Saturdays are spend hangin’ with friends, which leaves little motivation to get up early on Sundays. As for modern Sunday attire, it’s way more likely to be sweats and sneaks. Personally, I hate wearing sweatpants. I don’t believe that they contribute in any way to you as a man who has his shit together. They’re more likely to indicate that you’d prefer to be at home rather than be with the ones you are with right now. And yeah, you do look like a slop.. 😉 The only time I’ll personally put on sweats is if I’m sick and struck at home. A common sunday attire for me would be jeans, a tee and pair of loafers and sneakers. Add a bit of casual game to your Sunday. Show that, even though you could looked like a piece of garbage, you pulled off some game.
